6th European Congress of Local Governments in Mikołajki with our participation

At this year’s forum, the theme of which was the question “Europe after the pandemic: How to rebuild the local economy?”, we talked about health need maps twice.

On the first day we conducted a discussion panel “Map of Health Needs – a tool supporting decision-making processes in health care in practice”. We talked with representatives of various players in the health care system about how the map has changed over the last few years, how it is used by them and how the participants of the system have an impact on the map and its quality. The debate was attended by:

  • Andrzej Zakrzewski – Director of the Warmia and Mazury Provincial Branch of the National Health Fund;
  • Irena Kierzkowska – Director of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Olsztyn;
  • Agata Śmiglewska – Director of the Department of Analyzes and Strategies at the Ministry of Health;
  • Grzegorz Juszczyk – Director of the National Institute of Public Health PZH-PIB.

On the second day of the event we conducted a workshop where we presented in practice the operation and use of applications available on the System and Implementation Analysis Database platform. Together with the participants we were looking for answers to questions related to making decisions about managing healthcare services.

The 6th European Congress of Local Governments was held on 6-7 December 2021. The event was organized by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies.
